*Misappropriated Funds*

Bill Beasley was a resident at an assisted living facility; he had mental deficits which diminished his ability to manage his finances. Some of his monthly income was directly deposited in his checking account and some was sent to him at the facility. The facility’s administrator intercepted checks and monthly statements that came to the facility, took possession of his checkbook, made herself a signatory on the account and obtained an ATM card linked to the account. Over a period of years, she misappropriated many thousands of dollars from his account by writing checks and by using the ATM card.

Following his death, his daughters began to suspect the administrator’s wrongdoing.

They retained the Law Office of David M. Jamieson to recover the misappropriated funds. The case was resolved to their satisfaction.
